Start your day in Nevis with a short drive through the town’s peaceful streets. Along the way, you’ll get a firsthand look at Caribbean village life and traditional architecture that reflects the island’s quiet charm and colonial past. The tour continues through several small villages before reaching the Nevis Botanical Gardens — an eight-acre landscape filled with tropical plants collected from across the world. Visitors can explore distinct sections, including a Bamboo Grove, Cactus Garden, Water-Lily Pools, Orchid Garden, and Tropical Fruit Garden. A highlight of the visit is the glass Conservatory, which features a recreated rainforest scene complete with waterfalls, streams, a replica Mayan temple, and a well-stocked gift shop. Your final stop is Bananas Restaurant, set above the historic Hamilton Estate and surrounded by lush greenery. The setting is rustic and welcoming, with wooden shutters and island charm.
