Grenada is home to an array of stunning waterfalls, including one of the highest falls on the island, Mt. Carmel. This tour begins with a 45-minute scenic drive along “The Carenage,” Grenada’s inner harbor along the eastern coast. Upon arrival at Mt. Carmel, you will hike a trail past farmlands, discovering the island’s indigenous vegetation, including nutmeg, cocoa, banana, and many other tropical fruit trees. As you approach the falls, you will begin to hear the rush of water as the majestic falls plummet 60 feet into the pool below. Admire the unspoiled beauty of the area and feel the fine spray as you walk close by. A short walk further will lead you to a smaller fall where the cool river water will invite you for a swim. After approximately two hours enjoying the falls, you will hike back to the motor coach for the return to the ship.
