Leaving the ship, we will make a one-hour drive through Mount St. George, Goodwood, Pembroke, Glamorgan and Bell Garden until reaching Roxborough. Here, we begin our adventure in Tobago’s virgin rainforest—protected by law since 1776. During this hike, we will see plants and trees used for food and medical purposes. The bird and insect life are as diverse and fragile as the unique eco- system in which they exist. After approximately three hours of exploring, we will return to our Azamara ship. Highlights: • Experience the untouched rainforest, protected since 1776, with a guided hike focusing on local flora and fauna. • Learn about plants used for food and medicinal purposes and observe the diverse bird and insect life within this fragile ecosystem. • Scenic drive through several picturesque villages including Mount St. George, Goodwood, Pembroke, Glamorgan, and Bell Garden.

What to Wear: • Lightweight, breathable fabrics • Raingear • Comfortable, non-slip walk/hiking shoes or boots • Hat & sunglasses
Important Notes: • Not suitable for guests who rely on a wheelchair or motorized scooter. • Guest must be physically fit, able to walk approximately 3 hours over varying, uneven, slippery terrain with numerous steps and inclines. • Participants with physical limitations should take not take this tour. • Guests with back or neck injuries should not participate. • Not suitable for guests who are visually impaired. • Not suitable for guests who are pregnant. • Not suitable for guests prone to motion sickness. • Not suitable for guests with a fear of heights. • The drive to/from the port is approximately 1 hour each way, dependent upon traffic and local conditions. • Participants must attend the tour briefing.
• Participants must stay with their group and with their guide. • Participants are not allowed to walk back to the bus on their own.
• Participants must wear closed-toe shoes or trekking shoes with non-slip soles. • If the tracks are wet due to a recent rainfall, participants will get mud on their shoes. • Wellington Boots can be rented from Rainforest Management at US $5.00. • Minimum age is 5 years. • Tour order may vary between groups.
